Hello! I'm so happy you are here! Here's a little about me...
After working in the corporate world as a marketing executive for several years, I decided to take a time-out. In early 2010 I traveled to Africa on a service-related trip and came home with a new set of priorities. Life is short, and I am so incredibly privileged that my basic needs are met, allowing me to have free time to dream and ponder and enjoy all of the beauty in this world. I'm ready to follow my passions, not only for myself but for the people in this world where that is not an option. I have grown tired of starting sentences with the word "someday..." and have promised myself that today is the day. I spend my time seeking beauty in nature, in my kitchen, in the company of friends, in the wonderful, creative and inspiring blog community and revel in the idea of "home". What it means to different people, what it stands for, what it inspires. I also spend these days in search of a new career where I can combine my marketing talents with my passion for design, creative expression and all things hand-made. I started this blog as a way to share anything and everything that inspires me in hopes that you too will feel inspired to start living your purpose, to slow down, to simplify, to open yourself up to the universe and all of the infinite possibilities that are out there just waiting for us if we are brave enough.
