This weekend I drove up to one of my favorite places in California, Healdsburg. It is such a nice town and what I consider to be the best of Napa/Sonoma Valley wine tasting. Actually located in the Dry Creek Valley area there is much less traffic than the more well known Valleys and the smaller country roads offer up prettier views (in my humble opinion). I highly recommend stopping by the
Dry Creek General Store to pick up delicious sandwiches/snacks/deli items and then heading to
Preston Vineyards - the perfect spot for a picnic. (Not to mention delicious organic wines, organic olive oil and vegetables from their organic garden.) Did I mention *organic*?? I love them!
