I have a deep love for yoga. It has brought me not only physical strength, but taken me to a whole new level of spirituality, given me a deep sense of trust in the divine. It has taught me an appreciation and acceptance for discomfort at a level that transcends the physical and now translates to life situations and states of mind. Just breathe is my mantra. This weekend I was able to go to one of my old yoga studios in San Francisco and attend a class with three of my closest friends. A crowded room, mats about 3 inches apart, sweating together, chanting together. Wow - I've missed it. I have started to make it a regular part of my exercise routine again and my body is thanking me. We are meant to move!
love yoga and the way i feel after a class. also love how it's become such an important part of your life.
ReplyDeletenice, I need to do more. inspiring, aren't you?
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous, inspirational and motivating- thanks for posting them. I too love yoga- it has brought me so much that I want to teach now too. :)
ReplyDeleteYoga is AMAZING! This world would be a better place if it was required :). Eileen, I too have thought about teaching... Though I take vinyasa classes I would love to teach an evening restorative class. Someday I will have to complete a teacher training...
