How gorgeous is this herringbone cowl spotted over at the Purl Bee? I love this pattern - so timeless and beautiful not to mention incredibly soft and cozy looking. This is definitely my next knitting project... and should be just the right challenge - I've never used circular knitting needles before.

I just learned how to knit a few months ago and am trying to master the knit/purl combination before I attempt a cowl. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little nervous myself! I have the knit/purl thing down, but have never knitted in a circle like this... Have you heard of the book Stitch and Bitch? That is the book I used to teach myself and I love it - it is so clear and easy to follow... Happy knitting!
