RUE meets malibu

Today in my inbox sat the beautiful issue five of RUE magazine.  I have come to love online magazines more and more and this is one of my favorites.  Such inspirational photographs and fun decorating/party ideas abound.  This was one of my favorite spreads from the issue - the malibu home of Teresa Hebert and Peter Koral.  {beautiful photographs by Ryan Hebert}  Check out the rest of this issue here!

Ummm, yeah.  I could most definitely live here.  As much as I like to think that the Bay Area is where it's at, there really is just something unequivocally cool about Southern California - the 'it' factor perhaps.  Be sure to check out the rest of Issue 5!

CALIFORNIA COOL MEETS SOUTHERN CHIC.

Remember when I went to the Anthology Magazine launch party? Well, I haven't shared much about the actual magazine - let me just say that every single element is perfect and comes together in the most aesthetically pleasing way. In fact I still, close to two months later, find myself flipping through it in awe.

One of my favorite features is the spread on decorator Anna Beth Chao's home. (Please note that the images here are not from Anthology Magazine, but from iVillage) If I ever do move down to the South, you can bet it would be to Louisiana (preferably New Orleans - my FAVORITE city to visit in the U.S. hands down). And I'm pretty sure I would need to completely re-do a bungalow to call my own in this exact style.
